The first thing I cooked with this thing was a twelve pound turkey and it was moist and cooked without any problems. Next was a pork loin that came out perfect. It takes less time to cook large items and they require less hands on. I added the craycort cast iron grill grate and everything is possible. Get them both and you will cook outside more and your friends and family will love you for it.

This is great. My wife considered getting a dedicated rotisserie "appliance" to reside in the kitchen. I reasoned with her until she agreed with me that this would have advantages. We both love it. She's glad we have this instead of a small, electric, kitchen one. This one makes access and clean-up so easy, is much more versatile (will hold big things or even multiple smaller things), and of course the flavor added by the charcoal and optional smoking chips is something you'll never get with an electric, kitchen rotisserie.

We already owned a Weber Kettle grill (22 �")--The Performer. It's really odd (and annoying) that when I called Weber about this rotisserie, they said it will not work with The Performer. PURE SILLINESS! It works perfectly. You simply cannot use the built-in lid holder when the rotisserie collar is on, but big deal. You wouldn't be taking the lid off and on all the time anyway when using the rotisserie. You start it and forget it.

I recommend if you haven't already discovered BBQ University and Primal Grill TV shows/DVDs by Steven Raichlen, get your hands on them for great tips on grilling, smoking, and using a rotisserie. The first chicken we cooked on it was out of this world!!! ...butter and thyme spread between the skin and meat, garlic inserted into little slits here and there, and an orange stuffed into the body cavity. It was beautiful, too. I took a photo of it just for documentation!

I'm very pleased with the enhancement this purchase has made to my Weber grill. I've used it 4x so far, and if you've never had rotisserie chicken on your own grill, you are definitely missing out.
